Switch it up.... if you're predominately right, start using your left for more. Always use dumbbells that way one side doesn't help the other. Try 3 core yoga exercises.
1. down on hands and knees.....lift opposites up and straight
2. on back, knees bent, hands palm up flat out, elbows 90 degrees.... lift right knee towards head and left hand place on shin.... hold.... back down... then do other side.
3. on back knees bent; arms to side; heels on floor raise butt up and hold
With these 3 exercises hold your belly button in at all times. This will strengthen your core and help even things out.
I really messed my abs up... always split wood right handedly... now i'm doing all left and slowly evening things out....aaaaahhhhhh
