Reactions to yet another "FLYTILLA" show what a sham the LIKUD run Democracy is in Israel. Another embarassment to US backing such actions.

Why is Netanyahu and his LIKUD's in Israels government so afraid of educated peaceniks from Europe and the US, coming to Palestine and looking in on the Settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank ?

Does the Middle Easts 'ONLY DEMOCRACY" have something to hide? Something they don't want world attention on ?

Israel's LIKUD leadership gives the protest 'flytilla's' and 'floatillas' cause far more attention and credibility by trying to block the facts getting exposure from their visits, than it would be by democratically allowing these peaceniks in with no restrictions. ISRAEL MUST HAVE A LOT TO HIDE OR THEY WOULDN"T BE SO AFRAID OF EXPOSURE.

Go to the Israeli site Haaretz News to read about this story, check out the many other articles that Jewish writers submit about what is happening in Israel against the Palestinians, that the US AIPAC led Politicians, your tax dollars and christian fundi donations all support. Read about what is being done in your names,

After all it is your tax dollars that help pay for Israels Military efforts at trying to keep people from coming in and sheding light on Israeli anti democratic actions agains the Palestinians.

Don't Democracies thrive better under open and honest observation and criticizm ?

Isn't something wrong then with the Israeli Democracy that is so anxious to hide what they are doing ?

    From Haaretz News: Haaretz Editorial

Israel should greet pro-Palestinian activists with flowers

"A country that respects human rights in the territories under its control, including the right to nonviolent protest against foreign occupation, must invite peace activists to visit anywhere.

There's something symbolic about the fact that the six-nation talks with Iran and the operation to deport peace activists landing at Ben-Gurion International Airport are happening around the same time. Iran has prevented the International Atomic Energy Agency from entering its nuclear facilities to report on what's going on there, and Israel is preventing human rights activists from entering the occupied territories to check up on human rights.

Israel is taking extreme-to-hysterical measures to stop the activists from flying in, to the point of threatening the airlines. Security forces are preparing to deport the activists who arrive here."

Don't you think all the articles by Jewish writers on Haaretz news that I quote are "JEWLICIOUS" ?

Isn't it great that these writers keep us informed rather than us being stuck with the monotonous and totally predictable AIPAC propaganda ?

I think its "JEWLICIOUS" that you give me credit for writing these inteligent articles about Israeli actions, that end up costing US Citizens in dollars and in many other ways for our blind backing of AIPAC propaganda. I know we US citizens do this under threat of the Anti Semitic charge if we expose the truth, so I think its great that its Jewish writers are doing the exposing. Do you agree ?

I've noticed that you have numerous times been to my profile here on RJ, are you wanting to fuck me ? After a few of your visits to my profile I sent you a friendly message, but you haven't been at all friendly. Is this how a 'JEWLICIOUS" person goes about 'winning friends and influencing people' ?

You know open and honest discussion works better, and puts your views in a better light.

Just so you know, I don't hold grudges as an old man, so I won't hold this derogatory message above against you and if you'd like to start over on a far more friendly basis, that would be fine with me.

Have a nice day and I'll forget you acted like this if you will move on and try more civil discussions with me in the future. Thanks and take care Jewlicious..

Sights that the 'flytilla' activists weren't allowed to see

To distance certain sights from the eyes of the world, the Israeli government has turned its international airport into a military outpost.
    By Akiva Eldar

"Below are just some of the areas and issues regarding those areas that the Israeli Government didn't want the 'Flytilla' participants to see and expose

The first story is a chapter in the series of reports published here about the demolition of residential buildings and sheep pens, and a demolition order against solar panels that serve Palestinian cave dwellers in Mount Hebron. The Civil Administration explained that the buildings were constructed without a permit and that the construction continued despite repeated warnings.

For the past 10 years Ascherman's organization and activists from the Jewish-Arab NGO Ta'ayush have been keeping track in frustration of the development of the Avigayil outpost in the South Hebron Hills. A few meters away from the land of the outpost are private lands of Palestinians whose rights to them are recognized by the government. The more the outpost expands, the greater the area that is inaccessible to the Palestinians, that the settlers are forcibly distancing them from every time they want to work their land.

"I remember the day when the first trailer was brought there," says Ascherman. "Since then the outpost has been flourishing under the noses of the Civil Administration and before the eyes that see the large signs, 'We are growing,' posted by Amana, the construction entrepreneur of Judea and Samaria, along with details about how to contact them. Three weeks ago our people noticed preparatory excavations for a residential building and work on a new road. They went up to the outpost together with one of the Palestinian land owners, filmed the heavy equipment in operation and contacted the Civil Administration. An officer named Tomer arrived at the site with the land coordinator from the regional council." Two days later it was reported that the work had been resumed. Israeli and international activists returned to the site, documented the activity and invited the police and Civil Administration." "

    More to come:

(Also, soon there will be another 'flotilla' to the Gaza strip, lets see if the Israeli leaders will again shoot themselves in the foot and thereby bring even more attention to what they are doing at the Gazan open aired prison.)
