I've got 'em in my pits and on my bicep area. I guess the best thing you can do is what the guy in the video said, lotion the area. I was concerned about the way they look but people told me that guys will think it's hot because you get them from lifting.....not sure if this is true but ohh well. icon_smile.gif

yes! Stretch marks ARE hot - cos you cant get them without putting forth real effort. My BF has them around his shoulders and biceps, and, oh man, I find it to be a terrific turn on.

The guy in the video kinda gets on my nerves. He literally stated in one of videos he has never done roids. I could understand if he said "I don't condone the use of roids" but saying that you are not a user when you clearly are, is ludicrous.

    Totally cool!

I also think that having stretch marks, unless they are from fat gain/loss, pretty much says your using too many roids and/or you are so out-of-control with reaching your gains you don't care about the negative ramifications. i.e., stupidity. For any onset of stretch marks Ive gotten over the years around the shoulders, arms, and chest, I took a little break, moisturized every day(shea butter, cocoa butter, etc) until my skin healed and adapted, and I started pushing myself again. You don't even have to stop working out.

    So Intense!

Also, stretch marks can lead to infections and other skin and health related issues.

    Radical!

Here's some more info other than "lotiion" that might help out some:

I got a LOT of stretch marks/loose skin that I got from losing 120 pounds of fat...

It's... pretty disgusting. I'm trying really hard to get rid of them :S

Lots of advice on the many, many threads devoted to this subject:

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/?searchtext=stretch%20marks

I'm one of the lucky ones who never got stretch marks; a friend suggested that between that and my face I had great skin and because of that, the tiny bit of residual loose skin I have on my midsection will allegedly snap back into place within a year or two. Hope that's not a wive's tale, though by then I'll probably be too old to care.

I'm confused by your thought process, how do stretch marks indicate stupidity?

Have stretch marks where my arms and pecs meet from their growth and expansion. Like other BBer's and powerlifters I know who have them, I wear mine with pride. It shows I have grown.

Cocoa Butter works, but not the black girl lotion. You want the organic, pure, butter consistency, cocoa butter.

Also, I have heard Mederma works, I know it is good for scars.
And another great product is Neem.
I buy the organic, Neem bar soap, and it contains cocoa and shay butter, along with other amazing things, like olive oil, to help your skin stay hydrated and healed. It i also great for preventing skin infections, and is a natural cure for skin parasites, like scabies.

Everyone gets them, just depends on the circumstance. If you gain or lose weight quickly, you will get them.

Maybe it will help the discussion if someone posts a pic of what they are referring to as stretch marks.

Actually, in my personal experience the black girl lotion will work just fine if you can't find the pure stuff (I got my pure stuff at Whole Foods).

I don't understand the white folk obsession with organics. Honestly, they would eat rat poison if it was labeled 'organic'.

Wrong. Like I said before, I never got them and I grew a lot, fast.

Can't get them without...real effort? That's a bunch of BS. I have stretch marks on the back of my legs and I got them before I ever started working out. I can only attribute them to rapid growth during puberty because I have never been obese.
