I think I'm funnier in writing than in real life. I mean, I know people are more hung in writing than in real life, but funnier?

Are you the same way? Do you write witty emails but when it comes to face-to-face you're more mellow or serious?

Nah, I think you're funnier in person.

    But looks aren't everything.

(sorry, couldn't resist--just an old line of my mom's when I'd be a wise guy.)

I write a film blog (www.starreviews.wordpress.com)...and apparently some people find some of my sarcasm and mocking reviews on it kinda funny. I do agree with you, I think the idea of preparing something, going back to it and changing it can be very funny. However, of course, context matters. i couldn't be funny if I wrote something at a very fast pace.

When it comes to face-to-face stuff, I can stimulate a laugh, however it generally depends with who I'm with. Comedy is like food, it's a matter of taste...and my sense of humour which I'd say is surreal/farcical/dark can be considered borderline offensive and insulting, so obviously some people find it funny.

However, in contrast to writing, sometimes funny stuff can be said face-to-face, as some of the funniest things I think I've come out with were completely on the spot, spur of the moment gags...etc...

I'm just weird. This is just a reason why.
