Does it bother you when looking through a list to find contacts that they have not been used in over a year ,thus making contact impossible. should RJ allow inactive profiles to float. now im not trying to be strict and say that a profile not used in a month should be eraced , but should they not atleast erace them after over a year after emailing a warning. i saw one not used since 2008, waste of space..... your thaughts , opinions and comments much appretiated, take care

I think the Last Active feature should be eliminated...or at least able to be inactivated. It's none of your damn business when someone has been on RJ.

In my opinion, no. I was a member of a highly efficient message board for several years a few years back. They did regular inactive member purges, old thread purges, and *gasp* active thread moderation =o! =o! =o!

This cannot happen to RJ. It would ruin the poo-flinging fest we all know and love.

I post sporadically, but read more regularly. This kind of purge could easily eliminate posters like me. I try to only post if I have something to say.

As long as you log on your profile is considered active, even if you don't post.

I don't care if the old profiles are still around, but it would be nice to have a search option to filter out users who haven't logged in for "X" amount of time.

as yoiu mentioned a filter that would be a very reasonable compromise
