Aside from being a Horror movie nut, I'm a nut for some good television sitcoms from the past!

Any of ya'll a fan of any recent, or better yet, old-school sitcoms?

My absolute fav sitcom would have to be WINGS from NBC. Highly overlooked, very underappreciated, but TRUST ME - the first 6 seasons of this show are comedy GOLD - not season 7 & 8 so much icon_confused.gif

It has some of the best quick witted dialogue, great characters, & crazy situations (many o' em in the I Love Lucy mold).

Another fav would have to be THE NEW ADVENTURES OF THE OLD CHRISTINE. Great recent sitcom. Julia Dreyfuss is so comically awkward.

& one other I'll throw out will be THAT 70's SHOW (the first 5 seasons at least...)

Ok - so game on! Name yours & why

    Current favorites:

    - It's always sunny in Philadelphia

    - 30 Rock

(wait.. does it count as sitcom if they don't use a laugh track, haha)

    All-time favorites:

    - Seinfeld

    - Friends (not actually that funny when I watch it now, but it seemed funny at the time)

Grew up watching Nick at Nite as a kid, so my favorites have to include The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Bob Newheart Show. Also, love All in the Family, but all time favorite sitcome has to be The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I especially love the episode, "Chuckles Bites the Dust", which was named by TV Guide in 1997 as the "Greatest TV episode of all time".

I think Frasier is, without doubt, the most clever and funniest comedy show of all time. Each episode is a work of art.

    Half and Half.

Big Dee-Dee was hilarious. She would come so tough for Phyllis, Mona's mother. Plus, they added hot ass Coby Bell. Alec Mapa was hilarious, and how could you not love MC Lyte as Mona's boss?
