I'm starting to work out, and want to do a body detox. I've done a 3 day fresh juice only diet before. That was interesting. So with my routine now a days, I'm not sure I can always get to fresh juice.

I want some suggestions that have worked for you people. And if you have some of the reason and health reasons that would be good too!

AND ... should I continue with my normal work out that week of detoxing? I know sometimes when you detox that you can get sick for a few days.
Thank you for your time,

M

You can make your own fresh juice and keep it with you.

I did a cleanse where I ate only veggies and fruits for 2 or 3 days, then nothing but juice for 5 days and then raw fruits and veggies again for another 3 days and that was the cleanse.

I noticed that my brain was so clear and that I processed information at such a faster pace. Even I was a bit shocked by my own discovery about this.

You may want to workout with less intensity. I couldn't squat and powerlift with just juice and raw fruits and veggies. At least not as heavy as I normally do.

Good luck.

Ok, I think I have the juice thing down. I can get some jars and prepare the juice for thru out the day. What is too long to let fresh juice sit for?

Question: Can I still have coffee?

Is there any specifics for a time frame? reasons to go over 5 days?

Be nice fellas....just do a Spirulina drink or tablets...very detoxifying, but not in the sense of "purging", which is what I think would be a more accurate description of the topic thus far. Spirulina is a very important dietary supplement anyway to prevent the more severe effects of aging.
Yes, it is blue-green algae, and alot of research indicates that it reduces brain degeneration and HIV replication, which is a concern for many people.

Spirulina is great to take. But I was told by my dietitian that you have to make sure it meats the guidelines for being mercury free. Plus finding a good reputable source that's not grown in the equivalent of sewer water.

Yes, purging. I have received a few emails clarifying that also.
Thank you,
