    Example:

    I'm watching Washington Week.

Romney and Obama were in Ohio.

Romney says this empty factory is closed because of the failure of the president, President Obama.

    The factory closed in 2008.

    Obama wasn't in office yet.

One finds your delusions fascinating and amusing. Darling cupcake, if I go without little in my life it's because my husband and I have worked for it. not the youth of today handing it to us. We are not of the me, me, me, me, me, me generation. Thats why one does not see ones self as a victim, just because one was born a True Blue Aussie Poofter. This also allows one to put country before self; you should try it sometime. Oh and our PM certainly does need to go, but you try to turn that into because one being a misogynist. Were the truth of the fact is, she just is not the right person for the job, just as Obama is not! But..... now Bob has goneicon_razz.gif One does ponder who is running Oz now

You even love to put words in ones mouth, with your own assumptions.

Oh dear Peter slipper, you may of just put a nose around Julia's neck.icon_redface.gif

Obama he flip flops all over the place. Good at saying what he thinks you want to hear, just to get your vote. Not a game Mitt seems to be playing.

One does not do the Sydney thing much anymore as it's just not my kind of city, but brunch at the Rocks would be nice. It would be amusing to talk politics away from my computer, as one really is so apolitical, but I do have thoughts and opinions, just never talk about them in polite company; but then I have never had a hook up with anyone from the net either.

Nothing to be scared of! But as one has said, not into hook ups from people off the net, never done so. Nor will I be bullied into doing so; oh one was not refuring to sex either; albeit you do have a hot list, and I have met many guys in short term and LTR who root about. I'de rather it be with someone I behold a mutual respect for; it's that simple, and nothing to do with fear. Now your not trying to put word in ones mouth again are you?icon_wink.gif

Romney is quite known for his foot-in-mouth disease. Not surprising he made this remark.

If the point he's making similar to what has happened in the US: unaffordable government debt put on current taxpayers and future taxpayers, then you missed the point when you say "not the youth of today handing it to us."

No I still have many years of working and paying taxes, and supporting Australia, and it's families. I have done so for many years too. Seen two left wing government do nothing but put us in debt, then we have had to and will again vote in the conservatives to get the bills paid; I owe the youth of today nothing. Also by the time I retire, their will be no Old Age pension to help support me, I am working now to do that for myself, latter in my life if I live that long.

Oh but I can also hold my head high knowing the advancement I made in my youth for the homosexuals of this state, advancements they benifit from today; deeds not done for my generation and those to come, by generations gone before I.

Yes We do have a government in power that does love to put us in debt, because when they took over we were in the black, with savings in the bank, and all the bills paid off by the previous labour Government.

No having worked for almost 40 years, we start young in the bush. I have contributed to Oz all that time, and everything I have, I have worked for; nothing has been handed to me by the youth of today, as they are not old enough, in fact it's I who have worked for them.icon_wink.gif

Oh and since I am not a breeder,I only own for the here and now, not after I am gone, so be gone with the carbon tax.

Mate the diffrence is. I have never gotten bent out of shape because we do not behold the same political beliefs; albeit they may well cross at some points, as you seem to have with I. All my mates have a right to a point of view, be it the same or diffrent to I; and we don't all think the same on many diffrent things.

mate I'm sorry I would never of noticed you, just because we do not behold the same belief system; politically, as thats your right and I don't feel threatend by them, it's because when our say really matters is at the voting polls, and you can vote however you want, it's your right to do so, as it is mine, and the fact I feel this government must go has nothing to do with our PM being women; it's her poor performance, and the fact Bob brown forced his will on her, thus us the people of Australia.

It's why I struggle with many American democrats here at RJ. Because they feel they have a right to bully and bastardise anyone who does not vote the same as them. I too would never of noticed many of them either if it not for their personal attacks over the years, but I have learned to play with them.

But I love my sunburned country, and put it before self.

One has no issues with you sticking to your beliefs as I do. But sometime here I do put things out there to challenge what I may feel, see ponder, and get nothing but abuse in return. Thus if it was my own point of view, it's just been made stronger, and not weaker; but I hold many of my own personal political views close to my chest, and see forums as a place for many diffrent points of views. Don't make the assumption that it matters me, that we may not see things the same way, or vote the same way either.

Remember our real voice is at the voting polls, and I would never stop anyone from voting how they wish, as I would not be bullied into voting in a way to please another.
