    You are so bad!!

Back in the day, this show was really popular. I saw five minutes of it and was completely lost--didn't see what made this so hot at the time....

I grew up on Barnabas Collins and "Dark Shadows". I would run home after school to get home in time to watch it.

Sorry to hear that. But he probably died from the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton comdey-remake of Dark Shadows!

Rumor has it that the old codger actually embraced this character until he died.
Since I heard of his demise, I started to watch some of the show....it's actually adicting.

I heard he kicked on Friday the 13th. If he truly did live this character persona, then that was the perfect day for him to kick. icon_wink.gif

Hope he was happy with his life. He seemed to be from all accounts.

...me too.....the music was always so eerie and I loved the opening scenes with the castles and the crashing waves.....watching it now....the show is cheese...and I wonder what it was I found appealing.... LOL1.....still intrigued by the music and the imagery though.

    RIP....

JPtheBITCH saidEveryone in my sixth-grade class was fascinated by the show, but I never got to see it. I always stayed late at school because of activities and it was over when I got home. I think it ran from 4-4:30 or so.

I guess staying late to go-go dance for the gym teacher in the lockerroom really had it's price...

From everything I ever heard about him, he was a really cool guy. Liked his fans and was very friendly.

Loved him. Gayest vampire ever. Here's how the Collins' spent the summer - I believe this is a picture of him with his "Dark Shadows" co-star "Roger" (Louis Edmonds) on Fire Island:

Once I sailed to Newport and visited "Collinwood," the exterior of which is actually a campus building of Salve Regina University. (Not much to see on the inside.) A contemporary house had been built between that building and the water, blocking much of the ocean view. I always thought "Collinwood" stood on a high cliff from which the opening credits were filmed, but it's actually only about four feet from the sea wall walk to the water's surface.

A contemporary house has been built between that building and the water so you can now barely see it. A couple of hotties. From the bulge in Mr. Frid's shorts, I bet he could really fang you and fuck you at the same time.
