From the 'fiscally conservative republicans' the state just crated a 12th university when it cant even 'fiscally' support the 11 it has!

Here's a response from a REPUBLICAN:148 comments as of 9:50 am. Now how to channel that anger at the "Republicans fiscal conservatives" that have been running this state for over 12 years? (This from a registered Republican that is in fact an Independent.)

Even the republicans I know in this state are enraged! But ah.. after 15 yrs of stranglehold of the legislators and governor.. the economic ruin of florida is on a fast track..

Oh! And guess what? This state has been dominated/controlled by 'fiscally conservative republicans' for almost a generation.. I guess you GOPers will blame all this on whom? The democrats? Oh that'll be fun to watch and fun to ridicule!

You would think Scott would have been smarter about this. He narrowly won his election, and he has one of, if not the lowest approval rating among governors. Why in the world would you chip away at your base who you will desperately need come next election?

I hope he understands this his chance of winning almost nonexistent.

He doesnt care.. his amassed fortunes and his new 'friends' will only make him more wealthy with his sweetheart deals and cons after he gets the boot.

How did Rick Scott ever get elected?

It was those fundy tea party patriots again.

Their brains must think like this: "Rick Scott is good because he's really rich, goes to church and wears a suit...so that makes him a successful businessman. Rush and my pastor tell me to vote for him, and forget all them fancy liberal words about him ripping off Medicare for billions."

But his latest approval rating sits at 34%. If he runs again, Rick will need to grease a lot of palms in the religious right to get them to turn out the crazy vote. And there may not be enough crazies out there.
