I've noticed that many of you say that you love dogs, cats or animals. What do you have or would you like to have

I have 2 Borzois (Russian Wolfhounds).

They are both rescues from a large litter.

Eventually dogs when we get our house. Probably big dogs with the following breeds in the running.

- german shephards;
- labrador retrievers;
- golden retrievers;
- poodles;

We have considered getting a Long-haired English Cream Dachshund - but for now two dogs are enough!

ADOPT!

Dogs in shelters need homes, or get one from a breed rescue.

This is a lab/pit I rescued 3 months ago...as you can see she wasted no time making herself at home.Sunny Bunny.

Photobucket

I lost my first dog, Vincent a lab/pit/shar pei/chow mix, 1 week ago. Had to put him down. He was so many people's friends I had to drive him to 5 different houses so they could say goodbye to him before I could put him to sleep.

Thank you!!! Yeah, he was my Oats-A-Pup. We also called him "90 pounds of saddle-painted, cement-headed leapin' love in a Doofus suit!" First day I met him at the shelter, he broke my nose. For me, it was instant love!
Unfortunately, he died of old age in 2004 at the age of 10, but I have his ashes, so he'll always be with me, and his spirit lives on in the film.
Next to my cat Momzigaa, who made it to 17, he was the best critter I've ever known. In fact, the music to the video was actually written about him!

I use to have a Burmese Python before I had to give her away due to my job and location along with two Ball Pythons.

I currently have two Hermit crabs named Atlas and Ticky.

I'd like to have a nice sized medium to large dog but I'm not sure what kind yet along with a "bigger then average", long-haired, long-tailed cat.

Usually, people keep 'em locked up in a huge cage but Yoda lives in my closet, in his 10 room cardboard mansion, and is free to roam around in my room whenever he wants to.

And that green towel in the 3rd pic, that's where he goes to pee pee on.

Well, if he's cute it doesn't matter. Though oddly enough, flat-coat retrievers, one of the smarter dogs, were bred from newfies and labradors with a few spaniels thrown in the mix.

Goldfish yay! I love Ryukins! There's something about the fins that make them graceful even with that humpback body.

I once went crazy for goldfish in my teens (the fancy kind), then an algal bloom tragedy killed them all... and they were getting so big (My Black Moors were starting to go bronze again with age).

I've never been much into Koi and Carp though. :/

HAHA! Hmmm...if I had to pick a Pokemon as a pet, it'd have to be Pikachu. I'm not a Poke-fan, but I play a mean Pikachu in Super Smash Bros.

Four dogs here:

Sadie, an English Bulldog
Jackson, a Golden Retriever
Lola, a Kommondore
Roger, a mixed breed rescue

Sadie, the oldest and smallest, is queen bee. She can just give the others that bulldog glare, and all shenanigans stop.

I figure - you should always have as many dogs in the house as there are hands to pet them - so, two of us - four dogs!

I had two dogs up until I moved to New York recently. I had to leave them both back home, in Kentucky. One was a sand colored husky, named Tobi. He was gorgeous. And the other was Brophy (mah Brophy Buster) Who was a sand colored Akita, Husky, Australian Shepard mix.

There's a picture of Brophy and I on my profile. I'd repost it, but I have NO idea how. 9.9 hope this works..

I'd love to have one day a basset hound, a pug, a boxer, a Welsh Corgi, a miniature Doberman Pinscher, or a dacshund.
