i have Sunday roast almost every Sunday. ( british up bringing) .
I would imagine that it is loaded with calories, but i always buy a good roast, cook it with a dry rub, wine, etc. I don't eat yorkshire pudding, so i save calories there, and i love mash tatos. I wouldn't imagine it is 'bad' for you as much as it is high calories.
hmm, hey today is Sunday.... yummy...

OMG I thought that concept of Sunday roast, went out with button up boots. My husband and I never do that. But when one does cook a roast, I also have to do potato mash, and gravy, as ones husband does not like my crispy roast spuds; I'll also make him a pumpkin pie.

I haven't had one since I was a kid and went to church with the family, then either home with guests or to another family's house for lunch.
