Well what an interesting business moment here this evening...

I am to visit with a new potential client and her husband. Never talked to them prior and I was recommended to the potential client from one my established clients.

They arrived about an hour ago in my office, and I realized immediately I knew the husband of the potential client and I definitely got checked out. There were comments that I looked familiar. As business discussion ensued, I realized he was someone who had hit on me several years ago at a party and wanted a thing on the side.

As they were leaving, he shook my hand and told me it was great to see me again. "We will be calling for an appointment" to do business.

    Interesting, very interesting......

No awkwardness in the least... I realized.. he did, no "cuteness" during the discussion. I talked about the topic at hand and let nothing interfere from what they were here to discuss.

It wouldn't have been any other way.

Yeah, that is an interesting moment for sure.

I had something like that happen once when I met a client and her husband who I had been talking to on the phone.

We had hooked up when I was first coming out and had no idea he was married. It was a strange meeting for sure but I didn't act any different than normal. He called me shortly after and I just let him know that I wasn't going to say a thing, but our relationship had to be strictly professional.

I don't think I would like that situation. I wonder if his wife knows of his "tendencies".

It is bad enough for me walking around Toronto and seeing guys I had one-night stands with 20+ years ago! We give each other a glance and keep walking.

Sedative interjected:Awkward indeed... poor wife though.

That was the part that was a little weird. They brought their daughter in and I can remember him making remarks about his wife (and these nice comments about his, then 5 year old daughter).. and to see them sitting there in my office was a little strange.

I never EVER mix business with pleasure...

Then again, if the sex is hot I am ALL about being a team player icon_rolleyes.gif

What about in one of those "private room" situations, Todd?

That would be preferred as opposed to my desk in the office or the conference room table icon_eek.gif
