    Just what we need.

To go back to the same failed Bush/Repub programs that gave us: the worst recession in 70 years, massive job losses, and an explosion of debt.

    NO THANKS, WILLARD

Thank GOD people like the above posters are not in Government. Their insistence of seeing everything in a simplistic, finger-pointing, black & white scenario is amusing, redundant, and shines a very bright light on their overall lack of any economic education and/or knowledge. But, please, carry on...blame Bush and the GOP for everything under the sun. YAWN icon_rolleyes.gif Anyone with a brain knows that the current economic situation is the result of so many factors, decades in the making, over many administrations (Republican & Democrat) that were also influenced by so many other unknowns, unforeseen disasters (9/11, Katrina), and financial "perfect storms" like bank, mortgage, and housing meltdowns, etc. Of course, also culpable are the American people themselves, millions of whom have been living beyond their means for years, and finally the chickens all came home to roost.

Hey CJ, this is me your favorite fact finder/reporter on all things Bush era, and regarding corp/lobby influence on both Repubs and Dems side, who conspire for their own benefit rather than for the good of the citizens.

You are right, both parties were complicit in the problems that came crashing down during the Bush era. However, It was undeniably Bush and his gang in charge who tipped the balance against the middle class for the wealthy. It was Bush who put together a war team made up of and influenced by primarily Israeli Lobby AIPAC/Israeli dual citizens (41 out of 54) that took us to war in Afghanistan and Iraq which this group (PNAC) had planned for a decade previous to his administration. These unecessary and lengthy wars were sold under lies and did not benefit the US but did fit into the wishes of Israel. This war debt and the constantly accrueing expenses militarily and for medical care for its wounded soldiers was and is the 'straw that broke the camels back', in other words it was and is a major reason our economy has tanked.

Yes, plenty of blame to go around, but your BUSH set it all in motion and by god we don't need Romney to repeat the same bullshit, as you know Romney would go along with war in Iran which is the last country on Israel's NEO CON and disbanded (PNAC) list that they failed getting Bush to go along with.

Read CJ !!! These are facts all easily available, I know it blows your bubble to imagine that Israel would lead us by the nose to fight its wars at our expense rather than theirs, but that's pretty much what happened and what is going on right now over Iran. Yes the control of oil resources is involved from the US standpoint, but that's only part of it. Look who is primarily pushing us to go to war, it is Israel and its lobby AIPAC with Romney in their pocket. if you say that's just a conspiracy theory then by all means prove me wrong, prove to us that some other group is pushing as hard as Israel and its Lobby is.

I DARE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG, in fact I'd love it if you did, but facts are against that outcome.

DO YOU REALLY WANT MORE OF THE SAME UNDER ROMNEY ??

I don't really think it would be "more of the same", but then your "same" is interpreted far differently than my "same" based on all sorts of conspiracy theories that (sorry) I just don't buy into. I'm not convinced, however, that Obama has governed all that differently than Bush did, and what he has done is up for debate as to whether it has helped or hurt this country overall. I'm remaining "open minded" for the next 6 months to see where are country is come November, how each candidate (and party) runs the upcoming campaign and what they have to say about their plans for the future --- then I will vote accordingly.

And CJ, I'd bet the farm that you have not and will not look up the facts that are behind those wars and the current push for war with Iran all of which you call conspiracy theories. Come on man read !! don't be so fearful of breaking out of your status quo ideology to face facts.

By the way, Obama is also subservient to the lobby and the Millitary Industrial Complex, I never said he wasn't. But it was Bush with the overwhelming number of Israeli Lobby and Israeli Dual Citizen influenced Think Tank members in his War Administration. That is not to say the Obama doesn't also have a large percentage in his administration, after all these same groups 'hold the purse strings'. Face Facts CJ, both parties are in the Status Quo for a reason, but one party (the republicans make their subservience more obvious)

Don't be afraid to read. Look up Bush's war cabinet members names in Wikipedia and there you will find the facts, their backgrounds and what most of them have in common.

You can try as hard as you want to lable facts that dispel your Ideology and the innocense of it, BUT FACTS ARE THERE AND VERY VERY STUBBORN, so do yourself a favor and look it up. I DARE YOU !!!

DISPUTE THE FACTS I EXPOSE WITH PROOF NOT JUST ACCUSATIONS OR NAME CALLING. (this last sentence meant for the OLD GEEZER WHO LIKES CAPS FOR TO DRAW ATTENTION. LOL)

So CJ, prove me wrong ? I'm always glad to learn.

You're absolutely right CJ ..... It WAS due to MANY factors

    But they were all republican
we've had THIRTY YEARS of republican led economic policy
Even by and large the Clinton years were an extension of that Policy... Not as dramatically devastating but republican ideals all the same

DEREGULATION is the Video that Killed the Radio Star
From Ronnie on down we have had a systematic dismantling of LL the economic protections that were put into place after the last republican devastion and it came to a head during W's reign

Bank ... Mortgage .... Housing.... All were due to the same deregulatory .... Glass-Steele type of republican policy
Katrina?...... You see what Republicans did to FEMA .....?
You're Doin a Great job Brownie?

And 9/11? Don't get me started on the F**k up crew that missed THAT ONE

As ecomonies go ...... This was a GOP crash and they are STILL hawkin the same old shit that got us here in the first place

    Curious claims that he's "open-minded"?
    LMAO
I'm sure that makes all of us chuckle!

Yeah, his mind is WIDE open to accepting every possible attempt at blame-shifting the EPIC failure of the Bush record onto President Obama or someone or something other than BUSH!
Just like the lying flip-flopper Mitt Romney.

His posts here on RJ have shown time and time again that curious doesn't care about facts or the truth.
All cj cares about is trying to give Bush a pass for wrecking the economy.

Note that whenever we pin the status quo repubs for proof of their accusations, they just accuse or name call even more, we don't get a returned response with facts. Because the truth is, they don't have facts to dispute the reality that we reveal, all they have is talking points and propaganda in support of their status quo. Its like they are fearful of their comfort level being disturbed. Its really sad to see take place, because like in CJ's case, I really think he's a decent and inteligent guy. why they choose to cling to ignorance of the facts is beyond me.
