Left side pain day after bottoming

I'm not very experienced with gay sex, especially bottoming but I tried for the first time a few months ago and have done it several times since with my boyfriend. The mornings after we have anal sex my side hurts, always my left side.

For a while I thought it might be something like pancreatitis which is inflamed by drinking since I usually want to bottom when I've been drinking. But this past month or so I've bottomed more than once without drinking and had the pain next day...I also went to a birthday party and got really drunk and had no pain the next day, so I think it is the sex not alcohol...but I can't seem to find any conditions like it online.

Has anybody experienced this? I asked a friend and he suggested that it might be gas or constipation or something, but why would it only be the left side then?

it could be related to the positions you're in.

    Use the other ear?

Maybe it is a muscle cramp thing. Does soaking in a warm tub relieve it?

    So:
    Onset = after sex

Location: left side. Where on your left lide? Upper part of the abdomen? Lower? upper and lower?

Duration: How long does the pain last?

C: Characteristics of the pain? Is it sharp/dull? Colicky (off an on)/constant?

A: Does only sex aggravate it (elicit it)?

R: Anything specific relieves the pain?

    T: You take any meds?

    - Any associated symptoms? Bloody BM's? Nausea? Vomitting? Diarrhea? Rashes? etc....?

It might be the first pancreas that was on the left side too and it sure doesn't go away quickly.

Onset - it is usually the morning after, not immediately after sex...that's why it took a while for me to make the association

Duration: it starts to ware off during the day, but often hurts again at night.

Location: left side, below my ribs above my hip bone

Characteristics: it is a dull pain, sensitive to the touch, it feels worse if I apply pressure to it

A: that is best what I can conclude causes it, I just seem to wake up with it sore the mornings after I bottom, I can't really think of anything else. It doesn't seem to correlate to anything else like working out, specific foods or drinking

R: so far nothing specific relieves it, tylenol helps but doesn't totally eliminate it. It feels better to sleep on my right side than on my back.

    T: don't take any meds

use them in plenty in your anus
    it will help

sounds like oblique pain to me. you have a core muscle exctly where you are describing the pain, it is easily pulled when straining and or twisting. try a missionary type position that requires minimal movment on your part, and see if it still hurts just to rule out a repetitive strain type injury. i get the sam thing in my abdomen if whenever i twist around during sex if its doggie style, but i have had a ton of muscle injuries so recognised ot fairly easily.

    hope that helps
