Join Concrete Hero, the ultimate urban obstacle challenge on July 15, 2012.
Leap over a parked cars in "Carmageddon". Scale the iconic “Hollywood Sign.” Swing over the “La Brea Tar Pits” by monkey bars. And feel the exhilaration of even more surprise obstacles along the 5K chip-timed course or the separate 2.5K family-friendly course.

You'll come face-to-face with the city’s elements like you’ve always wanted. But make no mistake. This event isn’t just for extreme athletes or gym junkies. It's for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for an important cause. That's because you'll be supporting AIDS Project Los Angeles to improve the lives of people affected by the disease.

Hey! Congrats on doing Concrete Hero! I'm doing it too! Have you and/or your team hit your fundraising goal yet? I'm about halfway to my goal!

    My Fellow RJ'ers:

I hope y'all are doin' well! I want to remind you guys about this thread and the undertaking Crystallballer has assumed for the sake of Concrete Hero benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles, a unique obstacle course through the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. He is uniting with hundreds of other participants for one common goal -- to help Angelenos with HIV/AIDS! He has committed to raise a minimum of $400 and has already received $175. All proceeds go to APLA, which promotes self-sufficiency for people living with HIV/AIDS, supports positive medical outcomes, and keeps people living with HIV/AIDS in care and treatment programs. You guys know how bad the economy has been lately and we're all aware of the budget cuts on both the federal and state level, that makes private fundraisers like you and CB all the more important to worthy causes such as this.

Yes, I'm asking you for help! If you're in the SoCal area (or will be) during July 15 why not consider setting aside one day to have some fun in the streets of Downtown LA while doing some good for those in need. Help a fellow RJ'er out and join his team: One Hit Wonders. And if you won't be in the area would you kindly consider making a donation to support the cause? Any amount you can give will be put to good use and have a direct impact to those in need. I know you all want to do some good, some of you just need a kick in the pants to get you started ;-).

I'll provide the "how to's" on the next message.

Thank for your help guys! Many will be very grateful for your support!

Did any other RJ'ers run?? How'd you do?
