The fighting sequence this week was particularly awesome. I kind of wish that they'd kill off the GF so Burkehart (sp?) could be all dark and angsty (and because she seems to break up and boring up the storyline more than anything else).

I love the show and have been a fan since the beginning. Plus, the day and time slot is perfect. Friday nights, other than Supernatural, isn't a big night for other shows.

Nick is a hottie and wears the hell out of his jeans.

I became a huge fan from the start and knew that it would be awesome since David Greenwalt, co-executive producer of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and co-creator of Angel, co-created Grimm.

I watched the first two episodes. I'm afraid I didn't like them AT ALL.

A fan of the show, and I still think his girlfriend is not as naive as she plays. Wish they would show us what everyone sees when they look at Nick.

I love this show. Nick would look better with about 12-15 lbs more muscle, but still hot either way. And I think the program is pretty entertaining.

I think the show is alright. Pretty entertaining at times. But not that great enough to watch consistently. If nothing else is on tv, I'll tune in. But other than that.. meh.

OMG - Thank you! I have been trying to figure out where I have seen that guy before.... Road Rules.

I don't know how I missed starting this show. The lead actor guy is hot! I should remember his name, but I don't... lol...

This may be a summer DVD purchase - when it comes out on DVD...

David Giuntoli is his name (had to Google it). When he was on Road Rules, he just seemed handsome and sweet -- and the fact that in one episode as a challenge he had to dance in nothing but a pair of g-strings didn't hurt either. icon_twisted.gif

I can't find the said footage on Youtube; but at least there is that gay kiss from Grey's Anatomy...

This is a show I've been meaning to watch but I haven't got around to it. I'm going to watch it this summer. It seems like an awesome show like Supernatural meets Once Upon a Time.

I watched the first 5 episodes or so and gave up. As much as the lead actor is GORGEOUS, I didn't enjoy the stories enough.

time to bump this thread, new episodes have arrived, was skeptical about this show last year when it debuted but it's grown on me, kind of has an early xfiles vibe to it, some otherworldly chaos mixed with humor.

it's a pretty weird buddy story but does it get any better than silas weir mitchell?

he's always been one of my favourite actors, and so far I like where this show is going.

david giuntoli and sasha roiz aren't hard to watch either.

the writing in the new episodes has been pretty strong, and i think they cast nick's mother perfectly. Hope NBC gives it a fighting chance to get an audience.

It was one of my favorite shows from last year. I am so glad that it is back.

Yes, Sasha Roiz is kinda hot. I love Dave Giuntoli, too, with his beautiful hair and perfect ass.

The first season was watchable. So far the second season is off to a good start. Much stronger storyline.

yeah I think there must have been a change in writing staff,or someone was added, because the story is totally engrossing me now, the first few episodes last year were really weak, I was ready to write it off as another gimickey show trying to cash in on the twilight movies with really bad special effects.

they've added some key support characters, like monroe's friend who mixes all the antidotes, and having the captain straddling the line between good and evil.

I hope Nick's gf is written out, I think they miscast that part, she's too mousy, and anyway now she's infected with whatever, maybe nick's mom can stab her in the throat with something, that seems to be her specialty.

I did enjoy seeing sasha roiz rolling around on the floor half naked and popping veins when he was undergoing his purity cleanse. that dude is stacked,

Could they have had a stronger frist season? probably. but a lot of viewers may have been turned off if it was too much too quick. So I can see why the first season was about setting the premise and establishing friendships/relationships. It would be a lot less believable if they just popped out a character out of nowhere with an "he is my best friends and I trust him with my life" scenario.

None of the guys are really my type but Dave Giuntoli makes good eye candy for me icon_smile.gif

I think they need the gf as a 'weak' person. They need a damsel in distress to be saved. Or as Nick's 'weak' point. So if not the gf they might have to come up with another 'weak' person to be saved. Besides she and Rosalee are the only 2 main female characters. I dont think the mother will stick around for long.

I hope Nick's mom will always be a recurring character, and always part of the story line even when she's not in an episode, I think she's too important to link Nick to his past and his heritage to just be written out or have her mysteriously disappear. and face it she's a kickass tag team partner when you're going up against those monsters. she looks like she'd be a nuclear bitch but she's got those maternal instincts, so she's loveable.

she also expands the realm, she knows the old country stuff, so it brings the show out of just portland.

I'm not at all disappointed with the first season, i think it just takes a while for the actors to click and for the chemistry from that to translate to the screen. Not all shows have that evolution occur. without a real connection between the actors playing the parts, i don't think the characters ever feel real, I think Grimm got it right.

I tried it for a while, but it was so half-baked and paint-by-numbers, like Buffy minus the girls, the humor, the wit, and the great writing.

    And the lead actor?

    Charisma-free.

liking this show more and more. the format leaves the plot wide open to go in any direction, hope the writers keep it fresh.....at the end they promo'd a "brand new episode" for next week (28th)
