    Okay not quite, but almost.
I slept through dinner tonight and hadn't had anything to eat all day. Since it's 2am now I thought hmmm... maybe I should eat something.
So I went downstairs and got some dinner and a few snacks and brought them back up to my room.
I ate a couple of pieces of meat, some mashed turnip and mashed perderders and then I was full. What gives?

Do you consume a lot of caffeine? If yes, it might be suppressing your appetite.

Not really. I don't drink coffee or tea, and I don't drink that much pop.

Maybe it was just the food you ate.. meat and potatoes can be pretty filling.

Usually when I haven't eaten all day I can eat twice as much as I did though.

I think that when you don't eat much for a while your stomach contracts and so you become full faster.

It's like when you know you are going to go to a buffet, the rookie mistake is to fast all day. The real winner eats small meals throughout the day and then their stomach is ready to gorge.

... I think I'm going to die alone with my cats now.

Do you usually eat a lot?

You can be full and still be in a caloric deficit.

Sometimes when you go a long time without eating, your metabolism shuts down. Then, when you do try to eat it's like... meh.
