I think there are alot of things to learn from them. Havne't watched a lot of them, but there are great tips and insights.

Oprah gets a bad rap because she comes off as so arrogant and know-it-all. But why wouldn't people want to learn from one of the most admired, respected, and wealthy people in the world? Alot of what she "teaches" are things she's learned, applied, and experienced. it's not like she's teaching her own personally created doctrine.

Big fan -- the episode on "Ego" was really eye-opening
*rolls eyes in anticipation of commenters noting the irony of Oprah doing an episode on ego...I guess I asked for it

Also, loved the "Joy Rising" class
    *anticipatory eye roll, again....smh

Not to further frighten you guys, but I was recently at a fine arts exhibit of Ancient Egypt: Art & Magic, all about the magical thinking of that day, when I turned the corner and came face to face with Oprah's 6,000-year-old sarcophagus.
