So I wrote this song a while ago called "Disarm" and I had the lyrics placed in my head for a while.

It was a little story about saying bye to your loved ones before they forget you and pass away (not intentionally but through alzheimer's).

...but then unexpectely my father passed away...

So, I ended changing the script and tried to make the song out of my situation, but the thing was I couldn't comprehend the situation or the lyrics.

So coming up I'm supposed to be part of this showcase and I don't believe these lyrics are strong enough!

So I you could please listen to it and tell me what you think cause I can't seem to put this together.

    Thanks!

    Disarm:

    (0:36)
As you lie there and wait can you disarm your position to me?
Now is the time to face your fears for tomorrow they may not be yours.

    (1:09)
When the sea of time turns to sand, I'll live the ocean of memories built for me.
When the sky is broken by heavy silence, tears with shatter the earth, will you call to me?

    (2:24)
To be lead out of the gate with a fading voice I shall stand to await your call.
But now lost in terminal delousion, I can no longer hold together, I fall apart.

    (2:46)
Feel my words, take my heart, it's filled with golden memories
Speak one more time, disarm the fear, don't leave me here in silence...waiting.

Thank you. Yeah I don't sing too much (cause I'd rather play guitar and I don't sing to great) but when you do showcases sometimes they ask you to sing. I dunno I like musical soundscapes better but I'll make some lyrics to sing!
