This is an awesome video that exposes the rank hypocrisy of any Republican accusing Obama of "spiking the football" when speaking about the death of bin Laden.

Not one of the Republicans in the video said or implied anything derogatory about a Democratic contender. What angered many patriotic Americans was the suggestion from the Obama campaign and Obama himself that Romney wouldn't have done the same. Also, the I-I-I-I comments struck many as taking most of the credit despite opposing weatherboarding and the work of the military and intel folks. (Romney's comments about moving heaven and earth were clearly in the context of where to deploy major concentrations of troops.)

Team Obama will take the hit for this, and there is no comparison to the strong, pro-American comments from the Republicans. Better luck next time. icon_lol.gif

Please... A) That's not Republicans have taken exception to, and B) it's bin Laden, Gaddafi, and all the other stunning national security achievements he's had in 3 1/2 years.

    You're running the wrong play.

Are you serious trying to give him credit for Gaddafi? European-led. US had to be dragged in kicking and screening. In his own words, "leading from behind". The Obama wavering ultimately led to more civilian deaths in Libya. Good luck with that one too.

Understand why the hard left wants to defend his no-brainer bin Laden decision with the excellent intel - His pathetic tenure has left the world much more dangerous. He had no foreign policy experience, and didn't have the wisdom to surround himself with good advisors in the White House. What do you expect with ex-Communist Tsars? In his arrogance and ignorance thought he knew best. Good riddance to a pathetic failure.

You just become more unhinged with each day that passes in the Election Cycle.

NATO and our European allies don't do shit without the US's approval - as we both know - so you need to just accept that Obama will be given credit for Gaddafi.

The rest of your hysterical rant is much more applicable to Mitt "my advisers say we should bomb Iran" Romney than Barack Obama.

And Barack's kicking off his general election campaign today, so i hope you've enjoyed the close poll numbers while they lasted because Obama knows how to campaign. icon_lol.gif

On the NATO issue with Libya, your spin is obvious because you are basically shooting blanks. The issue was not the US disapproving the European-led action via the NATO command structure. The US always approved, just did not want to take a leadership role until very late after many Libyan civilians had been killed. I'm sure the Obama campaign team will try and give him credit for that, given his report card is mostly blank, but it will be easily refuted, and will backfire just as this one did.

As far as Obama kicking off his general election campaign today, what a joke. He has been in nearly full campaign mode since the completion of the Obamacare disaster, not governing and spending the taxpayer money on his reelection.

He is a better campaigner than a leader or a President, that is for sure. This won't be a 2008 with a blank slate, hope and change fluff, and an economic meltdown two months prior to an election. He is going to take a big hit for the economy. True many who want government handouts will vote for him, and being guaranteed California and New York will be a big plus, but there is a large grassroots movement along with Super-PACs who will spend whatever it takes to give him exactly what he deserves, a destroyed reputation.
