Oddly, during 8 years of Bush nary a right-winger mentioned "workforce participation" when lauding his fictional unemployment rate. icon_rolleyes.gif

Who cares? Obama does more for civil rights than any of his predecessors. I'll take being broke and unemployed with equal rights over having a booming job market only for straight white males anyday.

I don’t know if a qualify as a right winger or not and I'm not saying I discussed it much, but I certainly knew what it was.

When one is so broke that they are in survival mode, they sure aren’t going to be worrying much about ‘equal rights’ vesus trying to keep the lights on and a little bit of food on the table.

Seems to me when Bush was president all the dems were crying about was the war. His term was never about jobs.

This presidents term is about the economy (sucks) and jobs (sucks), not to mention the price of gas,(sucks) his trillions of added debt which can never be paid for,(sucks). He has been such a great president for the middle class(yawn)

If you look at that graph, the labor force participation started to climb in early 2008 when Bush was the president.. At least Dems win wars to where Reps want us to stay in them..
