Damn its tough but I really like it.... I was amazed I could do most of it but I think I see some editing jumps. That guy just keeps jumping and jumping but i can't even do half as many jumps without resting. Reminds me of porn where the guy cums over and over...what u don't see is that it is footage taken weeks a part all spliced together. LOL

Yeah, I just found that today. I think I'm going to buy a good jump rope to start on. I haven't jumped rope since grade school. Lol So I can definitely see myself looking like a complete r-tard. >_< I have heard that it's about the best cardio you can do in so short a time period, and I could sure as hell use the core training.

I'll jump rope for twenty minutes without resting, but only if I get to wear aviator glasses, a pair of booty shorts, and extra long tube socks for the duration. Otherwise, I won't do it.

I've done it too! Music is a factor for keeping up --only one track helped me though on repeat play-- Deee-Lite's "Bittersweet Loving".
Hey GuiltyGear - add this to your playlist

you guys should check out some of your local gyms. I know for sure some gyms actually offer jump rope cardio classes.

My bro used to teach one out in So. Cal!

I'm definitely going to try to grab a jumprope this week so I can start this workout. I keep hearing such good things about jump ropes, and I'm excited to see what happens!

But yeah, I haven't jumped rope since second grade probably, and even then I was never good at it. It'll be something I do with the windows closed, for sure.

My calves are killing me today...even squats don't do that to me...THe funny thing is you don't really need to have a real jump rope to to this routine. pretending will have almost the same effect.

Hey All –

Devin here (the trainer who developed the program). I’m glad to hear that you’re liking the program. It’s one of my favorite workouts.
Feel free to post any questions you may have about the workout…I’m more than happy to help. And, as Alpha13 may attest, do make sure that you give those calves a good post-workout stretch. It will help manage some of the delayed onset muscle soreness you may experience if you're not use to jumping rope.

Cheers,
Devin

I'm HORRIBLE at stretching on my own so I do Bikram's Yoga 2x a week to help the stretching out, is that good idea????

Hey Rob -

Since most people rarely stretch at all (esp. men), any streching is great. With Bikram, just make sure you know your own limits, stay hydrated and have an instructor who really knows what they're doing...and you should be fine. Keep up the good work!
