I'm thinking about moving to one of these states and I wanted to know from people who either live there now, in the past or have visited them, how are they? Any suggestions on where to live? All feedback is appreciated =D

Six months of snow, and freezing temperatures.
    Six months of rain.

No. Getting hate from these pests in the west cause they can't handle the beasts in the east.

    Move to Massachusetts.

Friends of mine have a house on the Rhode Island coast and it's a great place during the summer. Lots of beaches and very few people. Providence has a great vibe, but in RI, you're never very far from any other place in RI.

I'd be curious to know what it is about these states that draws you to them... would be easier to give advice in that case.

My first instinct is to said Maine. It's beautiful there and seems to still have that frontier mentality that I enjoy about a place I'm living in.

I've lived in Maine....and I couldn't wait to get the hell out lol. There's really not much going on there. some people like the natural beauty but it's not nearly as nice as other parts of the country. Plus the bugs in summer are AWFUL and it's freakin' freezing in winter.

You might like somewhere near Boston, close to lots of stuff, but you can escape into the wilderness nearby.

Depends on what type of lifestyle you prefer. Even within the same state cities have huge differences in culture and attitudes.

    Providence, RI.
    Burlington, VT
    Portland, ME

I'd suggest looking into these three. That is of course assuming you still want a small city atmosphere.

Someone made fun of the weather but the truth is other than the once a decade bad winter there is not much snow across Rhode Island or southern Mass. Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine get more snow especially as you get away from the coast and into higher elevations.

Thanks for the info guys! The reason I'm interested I'm these states is because I wanna stay on the east coast and I love having all 4 seasons. I also think these states are visually beautiful from what I've seen in pictures. Just a change of scenery ya know. Massachusetts would be nice as well.

Massachusetts is better... But Vermont is easily the best choice of the ones you mention.
