What's your favorite low budget horror flick?

For myself, the first one that comes to mind would have to be:

'The Abominable Dr. Phibes', and '.....Rises Again'.

    Also 'Theatre of Blood'.

All three are very camp, witty, funny, and gruesome!

Carnival of Souls is great. I also like one called "Lets Scare Jessica to Death" really bizarre, from the early 70's. Anything with Vincent price is great House on Haunted Hill, Dr. Phibes, House of Wax, Maque of the Red Death, Last Man On Earth. I remember this one French horror film from the 70's called "Horror Risen From Its Tomb". It was dubbed in English really bizarre movie. My grandpa had it on VHS I use to watch it when I went over.

I just bought DVD set with a bunch of B horror films from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I'll have to watch it sometime.

mayBbignow saidAre any of these slighty funny and very cheesy?

The only thing funny is the cheese between your ears.

Oh Jesus, Demons is a total hoot smothered in parmesan. I dream of being any one of the four punks in the car covered in a cloud of coke, probably the blonde punk chick -- if only so I can hiss "Wait until I get near your prick, piggy!" after my cohort nicks my tit with a razor.

Must be all the shit in the air that's making me so...nice.

That's really a 1973 Spanish film that takes place in France. A Paul Naschy (Jacinto Molina Álvarez) classic.
