after much searching, i have found my favorite jeans. i like low riding, kinda tight-but-not-too-tight, boot cut jeans, preferably with button flies- im picky about denim type, quality, wash, and specific cut too..

my size is hard to find (28x32) so only designers jeans usually work out- Sevens are great, especially in the summer because they're pretty light weight- they've served me well up to now. but my new favorite:

Diesel Zathans. they're cut perfectly, make my butt look great, ride lower on my hips than sevens do, and their quality is amazing. icon_smile.gif i also wanna get a pair of Zafkas sometime soon- they're the same as Zathans, but with a bit less flair in the boot cut.

i hate skinny jeans, straight leg jeans, and cheap jeans.

Believe it or not, I once tore a hole into my trousers and bought a cheap pair of H&M Fit Lads Jeans. Best fit of my LIFE-- better than my Diesel jeans or my Chip & Peppers or all the other designer jeans. The cut's changed, though.

More recently, I'm wearing Levis 534's (Low Flare)-- which are actually girls jeans, but again-- given that I have more muscular legs/ass-- fit like a dream and accentuate everything I want them to. Those, and Levi's 514s

Moral of the story: it's not about the price, or even the label. It's about the cut and the fit.

Levi's 501's, 527's, & 513's , I also have a few pair of diesel jeans that fit incredibly well. (the pair in my main pic) I've been wearing the more slender/skinny jeans since I was 17 and you just learn that somethings just look good and stay true to style.

I like A.P.C Jeans from France...I order them online. The best for me is the "new standard". I haven't seen anyone look bad who wears these jeans....

They are super dark denim and you are instructed not to wash em....ever! lol.

Actually you can wash them every once in a while icon_smile.gif

You should order them one size smaller than any other jeans you own and at first they are stiff as a board...but I wore them around my house and now they are great. My favorite dress up jeans.

Nothing quite fits me or feels as comfy like a baggy pair of DIESEL's with a button up fly. I like LUCKY jeans too. Gotta have the button up though. Zippers scare me icon_rolleyes.gif

Diesel Zathan's or Farco's (bootleg) for me (too). Favorite fit!

True Religion on me makes me look like a janitor. The first, and only time I tried on a pair, the first thing that came to mind (especially when I saw the price) was "Do these come with a broom?"

501's (or Perry Ellis) for working outdoors.

There are two looks you can go with
    when you wear jeans

First is the worn baggy style
Good with some great casual shoes
    or sandles

    300_125218.jpg

Then there are the more expensive and more form fitting jeans you can wear with a jacket or with a button down shirt

I go with a minimal wardrobe of high-quality clothes. I'd rather have one really nice pair of jeans than five pair from the Gap, Old Navy, etc.

My last good pair was Diesel Zafs. I like the boot-cut-looking flare (I don't understand tight, tapered jeans -- to my eyes they make a guy's ass look big and calves look spindly. A little flare in the calf looks more elegant, I think.)

Sadly, because those were tight around my thighs (seriously, my thighs are large from cycling and it makes it really hard to fit into lots of jeans) and so they wore through right in the crotch where they rubbed together. Not flattering.

I was just out in LA visiting friends, made the mistake of walking into a quaint Venice boutique that advertised 10% off their Japanese denim, and walked out with a new pair that are fucking fantastic. Tighter than the Zaf, a straighter leg, nice dark, clean wash, great feel to the denim.

The only thing on the tags that's in English is "Custom Culture", but googling that turns up nothing.

Anyway, they're great, ride pretty low, make my ass look good, and were actually cheaper than many Diesels.
