So here I am one year from finishing my undergrad degree and moving on with a lot of different ideas and thoughts going through my head. I am trying to decide on many levels what is the next step for me. I know that there are people out there who are life coaches and do this for a living. If you are one or know of one I would love to talk to you or them for the fact that I want to see if this is something that I will want to pursue or if it is better left for someone else icon_biggrin.gif

I worked for several months with a gay life coach I met at a Body Electric course. His name is Dave Allen, and here's his website:

Dave's a great guy, and he was there for me during a particularly rough patch.

This can be a really good field, but like anything else, you have to establish yourself which means getting certified and being prepared to work hard on marketing. In the beginning you might have to be prepared to do a few introductory sessions for free to get your name out there. This can be a great profession that can make good money and allow you tons of professional freedom. Best of luck to you.

    ep, thank you.

    I know some life coaches.

You have a degree, and you have your choice of careers, I'm sure. My advice is live a little life before you offer to coach others.

My guess is that you'll get a few clients, but you won't make a living at it. Move on to better things.
