I love this guy's voice, I must find a guy with this voice. I assume it's an American accent but don't know which part, need answers now.

**Fun fact: Turn volume to max then skip to 2:16

I knew his accent was Californian! I must meet a guy from there, thanks YN2000!

And yes, his accent turns me on... dunno why, but I love certain American accents and this is one of them!

This guy has "duuuuuude" written all over him. Definitely west coast, but I think he's amplifying the sound of his awesomeness for the sake of his YouTube personality "Simply Unlucky".

He definitely has a very neutral accent. His origins could be Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West, Southern California or Northwest. However, based on some of his pronunciations of certain words (that I cannot remember off the top), it's more likely Mid-West or Northwest.

He does have a good voice (probably practices it for his webcast) but I didn't hear too much of a specific accent other than the general sort of American accent. Some of his word choices suggest Californian though, as we've already arrived at.

It's definitely not Midwest or Northeast. It's west coast (Cali, Oregon or Washington).

yup, it's a california accent. we got it.

So much more tolerable than a NY accent, which sounds like nails on a chalkboard

    Agree about the NY accent.

The thing that drives me crazy about the southern California accent is that a lot of them end some of their sentences on an up note, so it sounds like they're asking a question. It's entertaining sometimes, but I feel like a dog who cocks his head at the high note when I'm listening to one. I sound like a dude, can't help it, but you can def tell when I'm asking a question.

*In deep non-dude accent: my estimation is that the man speaking is from an area between San Francisco and Seattle.

It's boss, but that's the reason why it's boss.

At least you don't have my heavy northern accent. Jesus Christ I sound like Palin with a deep voice.

I'd say anywhere but the south (east mostly), north (again east mostly) & northern mid west area.

For the record, those of us from the deep south are the only ones who sound normal.... :-)

Can also kind of tell that he's an inlander too, mostly because of his vocabulary.

Call the request line at any radio station in the Mid-West and ask the guy who answers the phone for a date.

And yes, he does have a sexy voice, although his obsession with bubblegum cards could get old really fast.

I have a buddy from Maine that sounds exactly like this. He's spent quite a lot of time in California, yes, but I'm pretty sure he grew up talking like this. (He's gay and into black dudes, btw.)

This, to me, is a just what many American white guys sound like. I don't think it's specific to any state/region, or rather, exclusionary of any state/region.

LOL! I don't know, but a lot of young, American guys have this accent. He sounds about the same as me, yet I grew up most of my life in Virginia. Many of my friends, gay and straight, sound like this too.

You'd be surprised how many features of California speech have entered the speech of Millennials all across America.

Go to a college campus and hang out around the broadcasting majors who learn to do radio/sportscasting...

Or even better, just find a radio sportscaster...

Wow, didn't think this thread would live to see the light of day but anyway, now I know where I have to go in America to find a man with this voice type! If there's one thing that turns me on fast is a sexy voice...

Thanks for giving me co-ordinates on where to find a guy with this voice!
