"The network has greenlit The New Normal, described as a “heartwarming comedy about a blended family of a gay couple and the woman who becomes a surrogate to help them have children.” The show is created by Murphy and fellow Glee producer Allison Adler. Justin Bartha, Bebe Wood and Ellen Barkin star in the show."

    Queer as Folk remake?

Seeing that it is not on Showtime but NBC, there is probably going to be a lot less sex and nudity.

    Queer as Folk PG-13 remake?

Justin Bartha will be one of the stars, so PG-13 at least would be nice, although NC-17 would be better.

ChangeofName saidhe made NIP / TUCK

and ruined it by making it super gay for no reason.

great show, went downhill after season 3.

I've never seen a single episode on NIP/TUCK, I've seen a couple episodes of Glee and all it does is remind me of High School Musical (minus the covering every hit song imaginable). I watched American Horror Story and while it was good I dont think the next season is going to be all that great. What makes it even worse is that hes using the same actors from the first and giving them completely different roles in a completely different setting. He left a satan child at the end of the first season.....so I guess he couldnt find a way to continue off of that or kill that off for some kind of closure?

    Oh well I guess icon_rolleyes.gif

We all know the next One Million Mom boycott. I think they just have to sell their televisions now that Pat Robertson endorsed legalized marijuana.

Didn't he also kill off the zany, lively Popular as well by turning it into a teen-disorder-of-the-week mope-fest?

Scarlett has a vagina, so she gets a thumbs up from a lot of men out there. Justing doesn't have that kind of backing for him, whats he going to do? Put out for the gays? What does he get out of it?

Remember how it was such a big deal -- Revolutionary! Unrealistic! All those sweaters! -- when The Cosby Show debuted? Cut to years later when all of us white kids who grew up with it are admitting that we wanted to be part of that family.

Maybe having a gay dad/stepfather or mom/stepmother will be the next hip shift away from Ozzie & Harriet.

Nothing makes television and the viewing society more modern than showing what is already happening as normal as it is in real life. I'd love to see characters on shows just switch out a few of their main characters for ones that happen to be gay. Nothing else is different, just that. Cause, nothing else is very different from us; other than the fact that we are gay. If they can help show it as "the new norm" of society via television; that help steer a lot of people away from their misconceptions on gays. Though, tv can't do everything for us we should actively being doing ourselves.
