North Carolina gay marriage ban passes over Democratic opposition due to homophobic white REPUBLICANS

Bakersfield CalifornianIn the days before the North Carolina vote, two top administration officials -- Vice President Joe Biden and Education Secretary Arne Duncan -- expressed support for gay marriage. Obama supports most gay rights but has stopped short of backing gay marriage.

The Biden and Duncan comments sent the White House into damage-control mode as gay rights advocates pressed for him to publicly support of same-sex unions before November. Aides also tried to use the focus on the issue to criticize Romney's equivocations on gay rights over the years.

Romney, in turn, emphasized his position that marriage should be solely between one man and one woman. He has said that he supports a federal constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.

Romney and other old white homophobes like Billy Graham sabotaged freedom and equality. To be expected.

Yeah, I don't see them objecting to another gay set-back. Who ARE these right-wingers on RJ here, really?

(Anticipating their usual unsubtantiated personal ad hominem attacks against me, that I'm paranoid, delusional, psychotic, an alcoholic, anything to discredit me, working right off the Koch handbook of how to disrupt gay online sites)

White4DarkerFL saidWe can call it...the CONSERVAPOSSE CURE!

The only cure would be to cut them off from their handlers and right-wing communication channels. No gay man cuts his own throat through support of anti-gay measures and politicians. That's simply illogical.

But it also being impossible to shut these gay-hostile plants down, our only response must be to identify them, expose them, and confront them for their programmed lies and distortions. Fortunately they all work from the same right-wing talking points, and are therefore easily identified.

Their hysterical response, when they're exposed, is to call their identifiers as paranoid, delusional, psychotic, and a whole list of derogatory terms their handlers have given them for just such a situation. And they're all the same slams, the parroting another give-away.

So I have to admit to you there is no cure to the conservaposse infestation we have here. The best we can do is recognize it, and know it for what it is. I understand other gay sites are under similar sieges from the US Right Wing.

Doesn't it strike you as odd....how the conservaposse on here seem to live in more liberal or gay friendly areas?

It's the guys from conservative states like NC who seem to know the true danger of right wing power.

Perhaps we have a solution to our right wing problem?! We must take up a collection to relocate our resident gay right wingers into Republican hick dumps MS, NC, SC, AL. Let them get a few beatings from Pastor Bob, or stomped on like cockroaches and bones broken from the Baptist Reverend Harris. And if the preachers aren't available, the congregations are well trained to do the Lord's Work. A few of them might like the beatings and verbal abuse, at least initially. But once they discover the safe words don't work, and the scars and nerve damage are permanent....well, they may end up turning in their Republican cards. We can then declare victory. We can call it...the CONSERVAPOSSE CURE!
Or just call it "pray the conservaposse away."

As you can all see, we have a fairly sophisticated communications system at Central Command in the bunker... any attempt to cut off communications channels will fail.

Our orders are - once exposed - to immediately report back to the bunker for re-assignment to GayRomeo.com

It's all part of the plan to infiltrate and disrupt the liberal harmony of the gay sites. Don't believe me? Here's the actual plan:

Hey SB, can you get those lights fixed or we'll have to move all of the right wings plants to find room to sit?

I think there have been comments in other threads, but suffice to say that even Gay Republicans and independents are not happy about the passing of Amendment 1. It's a setback, but I see it as a lost battle only. We will win the war eventually, and yesterday's A1 vote will all be a moot point.

And yet, North Carolina's Democratic governor, Democratic senator, and Barack Obama all opposed the amendment in question. What did North Carolina Republicans think about it? Oh, that's right.

Another failed Larkin attempt at snark, that just ends up being long on facetiousness but short on facts. *yawn*

What a pathetic race-baiting charade, as though white people are to blame for all the gay inequality in this country. NEWSFLASH: A hefty majority of white people in this country are FOR gay marriage.
