Are gay guys able to be in a healthy relationships without infidelity that could actually lead to marriage or will they just get divorced when they just want someone new? LOL My observation is that I see gay guys jump in relationships and have way more promiscuity than straight people do. Maybe that's why people think that gay men shouldn't be able to marry? Stability issue idk?

So, are only gay guys that are 40+ capable of keeping a long term relationship without cheating, 3-somes or open relationships?

I honestly think that open relationships just mean, "you are not enough and I also wanna fuck him." That's not a real relationship! Or do gay guys just wanna fuck every guy in sight without repercussion or judgment?

Again, is it possible to have a real healthy marriage like straight people do or do all gay men just want to jump from one guy to the next? I mean I understand we are guys and we like to have sex, plus there is no female to say, "no I don't feel like having sex."

That's messed up if you really think that... sure, lots of gay guys like to sleep around or whatever but there are also lots that want to have a relationship with just one guy.

It's the same with straights too, so don't think this is a gay thing.

And stability issue!? Really? Loads of straight couples get married when they're not ready and/or not truly in love and they get divorced. I honestly think that gays that do want to get married are probably in it for the long-haul especially with all the difficulties they have to endure, it definitely shows they want to be with that person.

Somewhat, yes. I mean I have seen guys that are under 40 have relationships but as soon as they get bored or wanna have sex with someone else, they do it. Marriage is serious, so if we are able to start getting married, are we gonna have tons of divorces within the first year? Adding that with marriage will come, alimony, spousal support, etc.

I can't believe I'm even responding to this, but hey....nothing's on TV and I'm bored....

First of all, many married straight couples have "open relationships". They call them "swingers" and it's apparently pretty popular in the hetero world. Secondly...."a healthy marriage like straight people"? WTF? You mean "healthy" as in how 2 out of 3 straight marriages end in divorce? Seriously dude, you need to put the blunt down. icon_rolleyes.gif

Marriage is as serious as that particular couple wants it to be. Ever watch that show "Cheaters"?

Then if you exist and you want that, then why ask this question? It's obvious there are gays like you out there, you couldn't possibly be the only gay who wants to get married and settle down.

@Scruffy: Cheaters is the best show on the planet... (behind glee) I watched almost every episode since Joey took over.

Rationalize? You just lumped every gay person under 40 as people incapable of being in a monogamous relationship, and you think what you say has some kind of merit?

Right, it is what you make it I agree. Yeah, I've seen cheaters. The gay episodes are funny to watch but would suck to be in that situation.

The gay episodes of Cheaters are mostly disappointments IMO. Lesbian ones are sometimes OK, if she cheats with another woman and not a man. The best gay one I saw were these 3 black guys having a mega secret affair and then one of them pulled out a gun... brought tears to my eyes <3

Can't you say the same thing about politicians? Celebrities? Other heterosexual couples that you just don't hear/care about?

You assume the urge to screw everything in sight is a gay issue, when it's a male issue. Some guys just have more self-control.

How does it have merit? You cant speak for every gay person out there under 40 and label them the way you did and expect to be taken seriously. The numbers already work against you, with straight people out numbering gay 5 to 1 and not to mention all the divorces that young straight people get (Britney Spears, that dumb Kardashian, Katy Perry, and who the fuck knows who else that isnt in the media) you trolling (badly) if you think anyone with half a brain is going to agree with that swooping generalization that you made.
