paulflexes saidCloseted US Navy boys have been fucking transgenders and drag queens in the Philippines for 100's of years. Straight US Navy boys have been taking Filipino women back to the states and marrying them for years. It's about time the closeted US Navy boys get the same rights as the straight ones.
Well, not quite hundreds of years, not until the Philippines became a US possession following the Spanish-American War in 1898. The US Navy had earlier been involved during the Philippine Revolution against Spanish rule in 1897, aiding the rebels.
It was only after acquisition of the Philippines that the US established a permanent military presence in the country, now a US colony, which lasted until final independence was granted in 1946, following US-led Philippine liberation from Japanese invaders during WWII. Treaties with the US permitted military bases, particularly naval, to remain in operation during the post-war period, which remained quite extensive, especially during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
During my Army career I knew many soldiers, enlisted & officer, who brought non-US wives home with them from the places where they had served. These women included Korean, Japanese, German, British, Italian, etc, and, as you state, Filipino. Just wanted to clarify for younger RJers here that this was not (actually still isn't) a practice limited to Filipino women.
