    LOL!

I still read actual books. I don't own a Kindle or anything of the like. Even though those things are cool and all, you never know when technology will fail you when you really need to read something. A book is always there when you need it!

I love books! I have books piled on books stacked on books holding up more books. I need to get another bookcase...or three.

I love books but I'm also quite fond of my Kindle. The only people I see reading seem to be students, though.

I hate Kindles and iPads. Real books are where it's at. Just the smell of them and turning actual pages makes all current ebook devices inferior.

Plus, you can't use a fucking Kindle in a bath can you ?

And yes, guys who read actual books are fucking sexy icon_wink.gif

I wasn't aware that you could use a normal paper book in a bath either icon_eek.gif

When my late beagle Ethel was in her baby chewing stage, she deveioped a taste for literature. Many of my most treasured books now have chewed-up spines.

Did she have good 'taste' though or just eat the trashy ones like a Jackie Collins ? icon_biggrin.gif J/K

Dickens, Doestoevsky, and Philip K. Dick. She was going at it alphabetically.

The bitch had good taste then ! icon_wink.gif

Ahh Doestoevsky...........that reminds me, I have Crime And Punishment sitting on my bookshelf unread.......it's so intimidating, I swear it just looks at me and laughs mockingly !

Is it really that unusal? In Norway it's not. I read all the time, and I mean a hardcover "old fashioned" book.

You should read A thousand splendid suns, it's a beautiful story!

Having a library is a real rush. Somehow it is better than google to hold the answer in my hand. [Well, that too.]

These days I reserve my book collecting for specialized areas lest I have to rent warehouse space. I love going to the library and browsing through the book sales for 50 cent books to add to my trove.

The one time I try to liven a thread up with a naughty pic it backfires. icon_cry.gif

    I removed it.

For me, a guy reading a book is either a hit or miss depending on what genre he's reading. This is gonna make me sound like a snob, but a cute guy reading a science book is way hotter than a cute guy reading, say, Harry Potter. icon_cool.gif

    Ha I agree.

Potterheads are on the same level as Twihards for me = lame.

Anyone over the age of 13 should not be seen in public reading a Harry Potter book. Pornography would be less shameful icon_lol.gif
