    PROGYM

I believe is the biggest gym in Canada. Everything you need is in there. Tons of equipment, supplements, cafeteria, showers, big ass parking lot and walking distance from PIX Metro. Best gym ever. Too bad there's nothing that comes even close here in Toronto icon_sad.gif

Yup Progym seems the best. And the fact that if you join in groups, you all get discounts! Too bad it's not located in downtown icon_sad.gif

I'm all for Nautilus. they have multiple gyms around town and your membership gives you access to all of them. they also usually have good equipment, staff, decent prices and classes you can take for free (some you do have to pay extra though)

outdoor pools...the one at LaCité is pretty cool. i also like the one on Fullum and the one at Laurier parc. the only one that is heated and open year round (i think) is LaCité and you need to access it through the gym. all of them charge to use.

LaCité is on Parc Street near Prince-Arthur

Fullum is corner Fullum and Rachel E

Laurier is corner Laurier and Brébeuf

I find YMCA is not bad as well, they have decent equipments, a swimming pool, a sauna, weekly free classes of all kinds, a bit cheaper than Nautilus. One thing, it's pack on some days and you have to pay extra if you go to other YMCA than the one you applied at. I'm talking about YMCA peel from experience.

YMCA and Nautilus are good specially cause u get access to multiple locations too but the BEST gym in Montreal/Canada is Progym. However if you are looking for location flexibility Progym wont work.

mcgill gym is full of hot sweaty 20 year olds, and the occasional 50 year old perv who pay 3x extra for the non-student membership.
