In your RJ profile, there's a place to list "Sports I Like." Looking at what you presently have listed there, which sports:

    1) Do you participate in currently and on a regular basis?
    2) Did you practice a while ago but haven't been doing much of in recent months/years?
    3) Have you never really done but you like to watch or wouldn't mind learning?

I do all on in my profile regularly/seasonally except rock climbing and wrestling. Those 2 are a rarity as of late. icon_sad.gif

Yep.... i do what i have on there on a regular basis. Can you imagine watching cycling on tv.... almost as bad as golf....lol. I get what you mean though, a lot of guys put down whatever they like to watch and it can be misleading.

I've only got one listed (martial arts) and I just got back from the dojo about 2 hours ago, but as for sports that I wouldn't mind learning, I'd be up for both tennis and baseball. Can't find much in terms of coaches to teach me baseball here in Reno, but I'll be starting with tennis in about a month.

    Well let's see...

    1) Somewhat...either a pickup game of basketball or football or some horseshoes!

    2) Yep, I don't train like I used to for Football. It takes a lot of commitment that I would rather put towards making music!

    3) nope, done them all! Boxing was making a comeback but I no longer have an aggressive edge for it so I train every once in a while. I just don't feel I could give much to boxing or mma but do I wish...yes!

I disagree. They both have their place. A badminton set can be erected in the back yard in about 2 minutes and can be played on the grass, which can be a huge advantage a lot of times.

I'm damn good at tennis, too... Your argument is invalid.

Also, I sweat more during badminton than any other sport.

    Obviously you havent played squash.

In the Jasper Fforde universe, the big stadium sports are badminton and croquet. You've gotta watch out for those rowdy croquet hooligans.

Anyway, I only checked the sports that I actually do regularly. Maybe there should be a separate symbol for "like to do once in awhile but I suck at it."

Or even another symbol for "I do this every week but I still suck at it."

Apart from running and the gym, all mine are ones I've done at some point in my life - I may return to them, I may not.

Next aim is to take up a martial art when I turn 40!

PS - Badminton is sooooooo much a sport. Can be fast, furious, frantic and competitive as hell. I've reduced guys to a sweaty panting mess while playing (er...badminton, that is!)

Squash is for those who can't handle a REAL grown up racquet.

And yes, I do play tennis regularly.

football practice on Wednesday games Friday night, tennis 3 times a week, basketball 5 times a week with my friends and starting triathlon training soon can't wait. So I am busy with my sports and I do them regularly as u can see.
