Okay so if anyone is bothered to share their thoughts/ideas.
My sister is getting married later this year (novmeber) and she wants me to sing a song for her.

Not 100% sure yet but she said it might be around the time the "signing" part is done so I wasn't sure what song to sing. Obviously something appropriate for a wedding but I have no idea.

She generally prefers nothing too rocky or too mellow, but I guess it doesn't matter because it'll most likely be something acoustic anyway.

Any songs you have in mind?

P.S. I don't know if muchly is even a word so sorry for that. If it is then yeah I totally meant it.

This is a more modern version of a classic song. You might could spice it up a bit more to make it appropriate.

I don't remember the exact name of the song but my favorite, beautiful song goes something like this:

La la LA, la la dee BAH,

Dum, dee DAH, dee dah, dah, DAH,

Mm, mm, MAH, la, lah, dee, PAH,

Like I said, I don't know the name of the song but you should be able to look it up on YouTube,

OH wow seriously you guys have made this so hard in a good way, so many good songs lol really appreciate it heaps!

I was thinking along the lines of "It had to be you" by Harry Connick Jr, but I will have to give these all a go and see what she likes.

Thank you guys all for your replies icon_smile.gif

Perfect song! Was thinking the same thing.. and if the OP doesn't want to go with it entirely, he could sing the first 8 bars, then segue into something more befitting the moment. I'd be my friends wedding singer for not charge, except to make the night as memorable as possible, and the right to say that I've finally been at an American Wedding!
