Not technically true, but that's nit-picking. It's mostly carbs and I read an article a while back on calorie content, around 8 per serving but I don't remember the exact figure.

Ack, several contradictory articles as usual. The range seems to be 5 - 15 calories.

Obvious risks aside, as long as your mouth is in good health (no cuts/scrapes, etc.) swallowing is pretty safe as the acid in your stomach kills HIV on contact.

That being said, if I trust the person I'll definitely swallow them. While it may not always taste the greatest, there's just something hot about knowing that they got off in your mouth =)

Uhh, I'm not so sure about saying it's "safe". It may be safer than other types of sex, but you can get HIV from oral sex, and having the guy cum in your mouth only increases the risk. I think the last figure I read was that 8% of poz guys got it from oral sex. Anybody know any other figures out there? It's not to say there's an 8% chance each time, of course, because the average gay guy has gone down on a whole lotta cock. Calculated risks. For some it's worth it, for some it's not.

That sucks (no pun intended), i thought swallowing was ultra-low risk for HIV transmission unless you had a mouth infection or cut up your gums while flossing moments before....argh....might have to examine this a little more closely

I know someone who sero-converted while only engaging in unprotected oral sex and not swallowing.

"Low-risk" is not "no-risk".
