    Mine are:

    "I couldn't go because I couldn't find it."

    and

"I can't send nude pics because I don't have a camera on my phone."

I'd say thats valid more than ever now with smartphones typically requiring more frequent charging than their predecessors. I always seem to get caught out with no battery at the worst possible time.

My company (and most friends) know that I have two phones, and a portable charger for my smartphone... combined total of ~10 hours of talk time (which occasionally gets used in a single day).

Yet I still use the excuse of "I forgot my 2nd phone and portable charger." icon_lol.gif

"I couldn't access my email messages because I didn't have my laptop with me." Everyone with a mobile device nowadays expects everyone to have access to his email 24x7.

My partner and I actually share an old, non-smart, flip phone. Let's just say we have all kinds of excuses we can still use...

Before I learned that you could turn off the feature on iMessage that tells the other person if you have seen their message, I would get caught saying "I didn't see it" all the time.

ding, ding ding!! We have a weiner!!!!

I use, "Yes, I saw you called, I didn't feel like answering. If it was important, you would leave a voice mail and I'd call you back. Clearly, it wasn't important..."

To be fair, though, GPS isn't foolproof. Mine keeps telling me to go the wrong way down one-way streets, to go through buildings, or to cross non-existent bridges a la the Dukes of Hazzard.

I met a Korean girl who told me that in Korea the subway systems actually have the technology to keep your cell phone signal while you're underground, so she couldn't use the "I'm going underground it's going to cut out!" excuse.

While most of this is generally true, I've observed that some people dinosaurs just don't know how to really take advantage of what they've got in their phone...

That's the case on Vancouver's newest line, which is underground in the actual City of Vancouver.
