Paralysed woman moves robot with her mind
Scruffypup saidI bet you odds as soon as that news crew left, she had that big strong robot arm giving her a good firm finger diddle.Would you blame her?

The technology is truly amazing. However, if I were to become a tetraplegic I would eventually request assisted suicide. That doesn't look like a dignified way to live life on this planet.
Do these machines help people bath themselves? Brush their teeth and cook their foods? I personally can't fathom living a life dependent on machines for everything and possibly humans for bathing, grooming, etc.
Iceblink saidSometimes I pretend I am using my mind to move my Roomba. My dog likes to pretend she's using her mind to control the r/c helicopter as it chases her around the living room.
