I'm always moving different places with my job. The best way to meet people is in real life.

I just moved to BK too! I love it so much more than MH in a lot of ways. You have to get a bit to eat at robertas for Sunday brunch! Sooo good. Also, there are awesome thrift stores in Williamsburgh. Its nice to just walk up and down Bedford ave. So much to do and see. But number one should be to catch a show or film at BAM. Its right off the Atlantic Ave or Nevins st stops on the 2, 3, or 4 lines. There is always something amazing showing there. Hit me up for more if interested. I live in Bushwick/East Williamsburgh area. Very much on the come up.

If you want a taste of New York City, there is the Great Husdon River swim coming up on May 26th. Its a bit salty but not too bad. And if you want to do something BETWEEN Brooklyn/ New York City, then the swim under the Brooklyn Bridge is on July 15th. Last year I knuckle punched the stancheon on the way by and it felt rock solid. Apparently its a thrill to walk over it but personally I'm a bit queezy on heights so I prefer to go under it. So, who knows, maybe I'll bump into you in the Hudson or East Rivers this summer. I'm not sure what there is to do on the land part.

I was actually thinking of moving to BK when i finished my degree. Did you end up checking out any of these places and/or making friends?

I'm told it's a lot harder once youre out of school.
