The gay characters on The LA Complex are more interesting, and somewhat more realistic. This show is so awesome bad. It's like every Aaron Spelling show bundled into one. Hope they don't cancel it. icon_biggrin.gif

Oh please. The gays in The LA Complex are NOT realistic in the least bit. And plus, why the BLACK gay characters always have to shown in a DL light.? How come there are never any WHITE DL gay me on TV.? Shit, Tariq and Kaldric are NOT even that attractive, Tariq especially. I know Canada has some better looking Black dudes then him.

Haven't heard of this show yet. I might have to check it out.
My current favorite gay character is Max from Happy Endings.
He's a lovable gay oaf ha ha

"Partners" looks terrible. "The New Normal" looks interesting and potentially funny. I'd give that a fair chance. If I watched TV.

New Normal seems to have a good story, but I don't think the show itself seems very good. I will check out Partners though

The New Normal looked like it had some potential for sure.
The punch lines in Partners looked a little too obvious for me tho. :/

Sweet, the more of these type of shows we get on the air (on something other than Logo) the better.

And Logo is dropping most of it's gay programming in favor of more "mainstream" shows.

The both seem like not must-see-tv.

For straight people, all these gay dynamics are so new and refreshing for them. They'll laugh at stuff that is run-of-the-mill for us. Gay is cool these days in hollywood, which is nice. But I'm not going to watch a couple of mediocre geared-to-straight people gayshows just because I'm gay. Not unlike my PASS of Big Bang Theory despite it being geeky.

I really try to select shows based on whether it's a valuable addition to my life. Anything that's just "watchable" gets passed on entirely.
