Few days ago I ran into my friend who I consider my younger brother on campus. Really cool dude who supported me during my time of homelessness and family and health issues even though we rarely see each other in school anymore. I gave him my yearbook since he really wanted to sign it. During that time I realized I never had a chance to fully thank him for all he's done for me. After he gave me back the yearbook I told him how much I appreciated his compassion and genuine kindness even with his personal problems and I know he will make a great officer and then he suddenly pulled me into a long hug . I didn't think much of it until I read his signature when I got home.

"Congratulations! You did it man, accomplishing something most cannot and staying steady all the time. Despite all odds, the cards that were dealt to you did not weigh you down but rather made you into a stronger and more driven individual. You are my role model Thomas. When I need courage or experiencing hardship I think of you. Your friendship is always appreciated and know that I will always be here for you. Best of luck to you brother, if anyone can make a difference it's you!"

I was and still in a way speechless and im really gonna miss my little bro. I see him as my role model

I'm sure someone did a thread like this but has anyone in your personal life shown you a character that made you deeply admire them?
