For a Jamaican...and for the country as a whole....this is huge progress, as it is very third world regarding their attitude towards gays/lesbians.

When I was in the travel industry, and had a gay client that expressed an interest in going there...I would push Barbados!

"I need American dough to stay relevant, so okay, after all these years, I'm sorry, 'kay? I swear, I love all people. So... can I perform with Nicki Minaj NOW?"

it's not so much him as it's (for) gay Jamaican youth. it's a step in the right direction, even though at times it seemed insincere since he didnt actually look into the camera and talk until the very end.

Who cares if he means it or not. He's sending out his influence in our favour. Or rather in favour of all the people who live there who have it ridiculously hard.

It'll make a difference in some people's lives. Let's take our critic hats off for that at least.

Let's see his next few album lyrics and the means by which he changes up the lyrics for his (in)famous songs. Then we can assess whether a hat should come off. A desperate YouTube plea makes a repentance not.
