    OMG

"We support the elimination of the departments of Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Energy, Interior, Labor, and Commerce as well as TSA, FDA, ATF, EPA, National Endowment for the Arts, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac."

They also believe that they are above the Supreme Court:

"We disagree with Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton as “settled law.” Under the Tenth amendment, these Supreme Court decisions have no authority over the states."

Apparently the Iowa GOP thinks their State is a separate nation. Do we hear any objections from the RJ conservaposse to this Party Platform? It's fair to judge a man by the man for whom he votes and supports politically.

I don't believe states supercede federal authority. I strongly believe in the constitutional separation of powers. It appears that the Iowa GOP is suffering from a very severe case of idiocy.

THIS is the problem that we are dealing with in our political system
Nuts have gotten hold of the gavel in our system of government

The Iowa GOP is representative of the national party and Mitt Romney's candidacy: a bunch of anti-equality crazies.
