    I read it.

And you need the extra $410 in California. Still doesn't change:

"The top three reasons why companies leave California are taxes, the costs of regulatory compliance, and a hostile attitude."

I wouldn't want to live in Indiana either. They talk funny over there. icon_wink.gif

Well, the article contradicts itself. One guy says taxes are one of the big three reasons, the other guy says taxes are relatively unimportant----less even than the preferred climate of the CEO's wife.

So I don't really think this article says much of anything.

Nuttin new there. Once duties are concluded here, I'm going back out there, taxes or not.

It's a long way to Woodward from Santa Monica.

That's why I'm getting it out of my system while back here. Then it will be back to Monterey Week, which I did for 23 consecutive years.

And since they run these at the Monterey Historics now, I'll be just fine. In fact if I get just the right deal closed, I'll be doing it too.

And in my business, I can make a bunch more money out there. We simply don't have the kind of opportunities back here where just the land is 'worth' a $1,000 per ft.

The thing with california is that for every wise person leaving there are 5 more dumb people moving there hoping to be famous.
