    Hi everyoneicon_smile.gif
I'm 28 years old and have been suffering from chronic prostatitis since 2009. Since I'm still a virgin bottom, I would like to know if receiving anal sex will worsen or reduce the symptoms of prostatitis? I've read some medical reports suggest that reciving prostate massage could reduce the discomforts cause by prostatitis, so I assume that maybe reciving anal sex can give you a similar benefit.

Are any of you have prostatitis? Do you find any effect on prostatitis in either positive or negative way from receiving anal sex?

My big concern is if chronic prostatitis will be a problem when bottoming? I'm worried it would cause pain and discomfort when having anal sexicon_sad.gif

Getting fucked in the ass isn't the "prostate massage" that they recommend in the medical literature.

I'm surprised to hear a 20 something use the word "chronic."

You have issues than a urologist needs to be fixing, not a bunch of uneducated gay guys in a chat room.

    ASK YOUR DOCTOR.

These guys don't know your background or your history and most don't know anything about medical science yet they will still authoritatively dispense advice and it's probably just a confused, regurgitated recollection of some shit they saw on Dr. Oz or read in a blog.

Yes, ask your doctor. If you don't feel comfortable discussing anal sex with your regular doctor, find a community clinic or ask your gay friends for a doctor who can be helpful. You might also ask for a referral to a urologist who can explain prostate massage and whether it will help you.

Prostatitis can occur in men at any age. I'm only 26 and recently dealt with it.

I first started having symptoms of prostatitis around the beginning of March and went to get checked. Mine was likely caused by an infection that required two treatments of Cipro. I finished my second treatment a little over a week ago and fortunately haven't had any symptoms of the problem. Of course, I have no idea if this will become a chronic problem, but things look promising so far.

I haven't had sex of any kind lately, so right now hasn't been a factor in the condition of my prostate.

Yes, I contracted prostatitis younger than you. And it did make bottoming hurt something awful, when the infection was active, my prostate tender.

Don't bottom until your infection is under control. Work with your doctor. If he can't do a DRE (digital rectal exam) without it hurting you, and he tells you your prostate is enlarged, or in any way abnormal, then anal sex is likely to hurt you.

Sorry, just the way it is. You will be best with a primary doctor, or a urologist, who deals with gay patients. I don't know if you can do that where you live.

i read an article by a doctor years ago.... usually if you get off 3x a week or more you shouldn't have to worry about prostrate problems... i guess the trick is .... to keep yourself cleaned out so it doesn't build up in the prostrate.

Language can a playful thing. Make it fun!

I like coining new words. Especially when I get a chance to exploit, I mean express my inner whore slut. icon_twisted.gif

That's the beauty of the English language - it is ever evolving - taking one word type (noun) and converting it to another (verb) and still being understood by your audience. I'll spread (pun intended) the good news about the new verb, dildoing. It will catch on and wind up in the dictionary someday.

It isn't? And all this time I thought sex was both pleasurable and beneficial, I thought I'd hit the jackpot!

My urologist said my prostatitis has became nonbacterial chronic prostatitis after taking antibiocs for months. It means the inflammation and symptoms still remain but are not severe, mainly they are dull pain in lower ab, weaker and frequent urination. I guess I've been used to these symptoms that sometimes I don't even notice them.

So according to your experince, prostatitis should not be a big issue when bottoming unless it flares up, ringt? It's so sad that I'm a bottom and have prostatitisicon_cry.gif

Unfortunately, I don't know any doctor who deals with gay patients. I trust my urologist and we have a good interaction with each other, but bottoming thing is probably the only thing that I can't talk about to him. This is why I'm here.

Fuck. What about 7 or 8 a day?

Yes, getting off 2-3 times a week is what my doctor suggests. It will help you to extract the carrier fluid from your prostate.

    I'm a very sexual person, but 7 or 8 a day? seriously?icon_eek.gif

I used to jerk off every day, and edge for 2-3 hours in each session. But I've read some medical articles that point out too frequent sexual activity and holding back ejaculation too long will cause prostate problems, such as prostatitis. So I've cut down on jerkind off and now I only jerk off 3 times a week and shorten the length of edging in each session. It is a little bit difficul to me cause edging feels so good that sometimes takes me more than 90 minutes to get officon_lol.gif

    Try checking out CHRONICPROSTATITIS.COM

They have a number of guys on there dealing with this issue and it's unlikely you have anything bacterial rather it relates to muscles, stress, anxiety, etc.

Good luck to you but many men have found their way to better health and recovery with this issue.
