And if Team Obama wants to talk about Bain, bring it on. Their first ad was not only completely debunked, but the real facts showed the complete opposite of Team Obama's intent.

More Democrats are telling Obama to stifle it because Bain's actions are typical of PE firms, which on the balance create jobs and wealth for pension plans, institutional investors, and IRAs and other individual investment accounts. But let him dig in and continue. We'll see how it continues to play out...

I think it's so funny that you post ads from the groups that share your ideology and act like they're meaningful or even remotely based in truth.

It's called "bias". You think these ads are great because they support your viewpoint and don't realize that their persuasiveness is unproven. icon_lol.gif

Ads cite factual statistics. You can say the statistics are misleading or taken out of context. Go ahead. As an example of how ads are deceptive, I provided a link to a thread that showed the dishonesty of the Obama ad on Bain.

That's not my point. My point is that you find it persuasive because you already believe it. icon_lol.gif

Same thing cuts the other way even when facts show otherwise. Case in point being that Obama ad stating Romney is a plunderer committing vampire capitalism and using GST as an example. Also many RJ members will avoid the thread on that topic because they don't want to see facts that challenge their position.

It's funny how Christian always wants links and facts yet when they are posted he dismisses them as biased or non-factual yet when he posts links or statements they are all truth. icon_lol.gif

Quite good - until soon after the Democrats took control of Congress back in 2007.

U mean the economy was good until the carry over from the previous Clinton administration wore off and Bushs policies actually took effect.

Just say no to 4 more years of failed GOP policies under Romney.

A few statistics taken out of context does not make a compelling argument. Besides which, the Romney campaign and allied Super PACs have already been proven liars by every reputable fact-checking organization in the country. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes I do! Really. The beauty of being older is I can actually remember what life was like under Republican rule. You obviously cannot. Not to mention we've got Republicans who are wanting to put you and I in concentration camps and executed, so based on that alone, I would hope you'd want 4 more years of "this" too.

Socal's posts are no different than SouthBitch's these days. Not even worth it for me to click on either of those videos because I know the source beforehand. Always some rabid right wing nut who does nothing but yammer on about birth certificates and "one man one woman" while voting for the party who has already made it clear they want Obama to fail even at the expense of the country.

My messages, links, and videos are not for your consumption. They are for moderates and conservatives.

jock_1 - Guys like Christian will dismiss any source, be it a web site, media outlet, or analyst who says what he doesn't want to hear. They will make general dismissive comments.

It is understandable. They don't have much going for themselves lately. For example, in the Obama ad against Romney and Bain describing GST, they tried to paint Romney as a corporate raider and plunderer. It was so easy to fact check and see what a lie the ad was, and the truth not only debunked the ad, but proved the exact opposite of what the Obama ad was trying to peddle.

Take a look here to see their lying tactics exposed: http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/2385839/

That review itself is anything but objective.

As befitting a Karl Rove outfit,
    the art of insinuation
the claims in the ad are either misleading, or outright falsehoods. Citing a Reuters story from 2009 on conservative efforts to sink the bill, Crossroads GPS insinuates that the stimulus was a failure, despite wide consensus that the bill kept United States out of a depression, and significantly improved prospects for recovery.
Wide consensus among Obama supporters, that is.

Other sources the review cited have already been disproved.

If you want to see an example of a deliberately misleading ad, the Obama one on Romney-Bain-GST is a perfect example. http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/2385839/
