I would like to quit smoking and to make it easier it would be fun to spell a few breathing words with cigarettes arranged as letters and take pictures of it in a doctors office.

    Probably "CPR", "health", and "Oxygen".

My ol'man (step-dad) worked hard and partied hard. He was a terrible smoker for most of his life. Wound up with I think it was either three or four open heart surgeries from pig valve to plastic valve and whatever else they did in there. Those surgeries were way more serious back then than they are today.

I think it was when they were going from pig to plastic, but I'm not sure which operation, he got real nervous and wanted the best so my mom contacted DeBakey in Texas and begged him to take the case. He finally agreed but only if the ol'man stopped smoking. So my mom blew up pictures from his last operation, his chest all mangled and stitched and she framed them and hung them on the walls of their house. It was kinda gross but it worked.

She made it so he couldn't avoid seeing what he'd done to himself. Finally he stopped smoking. DeBakey and his wonderful team did the operation and he got about another 10-15 years of good living in that he would have denied himself for a fucking cigarette.

Cigarettes in part killed my last best bud too. I hate those fucking things. Good luck in your efforts to stop. The visualizing stuff, when you put it right in your face, really can help. I've seen it work.

I came accross this device called a respiratory excerciser in an open magazine in a friends bathroom. I'm gonna see if the inventor has a doctor's office.
