He's not bound to that either: Mitt Romney does not believe the Constitution's guarantees of liberty and equality apply to gay Americans.

Republicans instead want to write their hatred of gay couples into the Constitution to make sure that marriage equality never happens. These right-wing Republicans are not fit to govern.

"Any spending cuts, Romney said, should come down the road, after the economy has improved."

    This is perfect.

Those who'll be voting for Romney will be voting for someone who won't do anything different than President Obama regarding federal spending for the time being.

So what exactly is the point of voting for Romney? He has no intention of cutting spending. Forget that he doesn't support marriage equality, but he actually promotes a nationwide ban on same-sex marriage, despite it being legal in several states.

In fact, Romney endorsed Keyensian economics by arguing that a large cessation of government would cripple the economy and plunge us into recession or depression. (And then argues against spending.)
