I know that similar topic have been discused before, but I need to take it out of my brain. A straight friend was asking me about "gay sex" and the thing came up...

I can understand about carrying the lable of "gay"
But for a reason the "gay comunty" loves to labeling even more. Especially men.
I've always had a thing with the top/bottom/vers/etc.. lable...I don't like how people lable as TO BE (incert any od the foregoing). Is there a name for a straight girl who also like anal sex? How do you call a lesbian who like to receive oral sex? or How do you call a straight guy who loke to give oral sex?
Is there are something like bottom lesbian...a top lesbian?

Why some gay men like to define themselve by anal sex?. Like being gay is related to anal sex...many, many people call it gay sex....
We don't want to straight people think that we base everything in sex but I think that this bottom/top labeling is saying something else.

Straight men in a bar is not asking a girl if she likes to take it in the bum right?
I've read some comments in some other posts where there are people asking "two bottoms can have a relationship?" " I met a excelent guy but is a top as well, so it can't work"
I like how lesbians work their sex life

Sex is fun, tha way you want to practise it, but I don't base my life in anal sex
I'm not top or bottom or vers or anything esle. I enjoy my partner in the moment and we can do what we want or the mood says...
    I don't want more labels.

I'd like to read if there are other people who think similar.
I need it to take it out of my system.

For those guys who never take things seriously, feel free to post a stupid comment.

Labels are for filing. Labels are for clothing. Labels are not for people.

Why do you have to label yourself as gay? Why can't you just like to have sex with your partner in the moment.

I try to be honest when I talk about myself, but as a whole- I hate labeling myself (which I wind up doing because I feel like I have to) even though when I do I feel like I wind up contradicting myself.

I don't see what the big deal is about someone referring to himself as a "top", "bottom", or "versatile". Those are the kind of words used to describe oneself in places like pick up bars or hook up sites, so it is not really out of place in those situations. People aren't coming out to their family or coworkers as a "top" or "bottom".

I tore off Bill's label one day when I rolled him over (and no I'm NOT telling you what we were doing). Was that against the law like on mattresses?

Yeah I understand where you're coming from. If you feel strongly about that, then all that matters is that you don't label yourself. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing
